Becoming Mastery ( 3 months in )

I did my month end accountability for my Becoming Mastery / Masters Quest yesterday.

I noticed a pattern ... those of you who know me well will probably see this as pretty obvious ... I haven't really looked at the Total Goals or the final numbers much since I created them. I spend much more attention on how each check-in can be better than the last.

So what?

Here's the rub: even though in some areas I may be getting things done at twice the pace (or more) than I need, to hit the final goal; I tend to score myself in the context of "Did I do more this time than last time?" or "What percentage of the possible have I completed?"

Not to say that this is a bad thing .. I'll hit all of the final goals pretty cleanly, but something of a reminder that to not hit my personal evaluation tendencies is not the same as not hitting the objective pre-set goal.

I'm leaner and my flexibility is coming up ... feeling really good ..high energy level .. I'm appreciating every bit of the progress in my previously iffy ankle and elbow .. feeling good about my skills progress in each of the areas.

Also appreciating my teachers and mentors in this project .. the orphan is learning the value of these resources.
